Children Resources Internacional- CRI Children's Resources International- CRI is a non-profit educational and training organization whose mission is to promote democratic educational practices for children, their families, and their teachers around the world. Their goals are to encourage children to make choices, take responsibility for their actions, respect one another, express their ideas creatively, develop critical thinking skills and to draw families and community members into the life of the school.
	Cholonautas Cholonautas is a place for students, teachers and researchers from different social sciences and other interested users to meet and exchange information. The project is being developed by the Peruvian Studies Institute - IEP - that seeks to encourage the academic use of the Internet, promote an improvement in the teaching of social sciences and contribute to the articulation of the academic community in Peru.
	Educational Quality Improvement Program- EQUIP The Educational Quality Improvement Program- EQUIP, is a combination of programs, processes, and activities that contribute to the Office of Education of USAID's Pillar Bureau for Economic Growth, Agriculture and Trade (EGAT) by: - Responding to a variety of capacity building and technical assistance needs; - Developing innovative and effective approaches and analytic tools; and - Establishing and sharing research, communication, and networking capacity. This is accomplished through three distinct yet interrelated awards: EQUIP1: Building Educational Quality in the Classroom, School and Local Community EQUIP2: Educational Policy, Systems, and Management EQUIP3/Youth Trust: Learning and Earning for Out-of-school Youth
	Equity for children Equity for children is an initiative of the Graduate Program in International Affairs (GPIA), The New School in partnership with the Graduate School of Social Service, Fordham University. It is as an online forum that provides students, professors, academics and practitioners with an interactive space to learn, research and communicate on thematic issues related to child poverty, rights, and social issues. We also focus on social policy, impact monitoring & evaluation, and the role of interactive, participatory media and arts projects by children to address their own rights and wellbeing.
	JUNTOS JUNTOS- National Program to Provide Direct Support for the Poor was created in April 2005 and gives the poorest people in the country a S/100.00 cash bonus in a bid to try and secure their participation in the areas of nutrition, health, education and identity in order to restitute basic rights and seeks to combat chronic child malnutrition and extreme poverty. The work of this program places priority on rural sectors and incorporates families with pregnant women and children up to age 14.
	International Budget Project IBP The International Budget Project- IBP was formed within the Centre on Budget and Policy Priorities in 1997 to nurture the growth of civil society capacity to analyze and influence government budget processes, institutions and outcomes. The IBP is interested particularly in working with those organizations that focus on the impact of the budget on poor and low-income people in developing countries or new democracies.
	International Poverty Centre- IPC The International Poverty Centre- IPC is a joint project between the United Nations Development Programme and the Brazilian Government to promote South-South Cooperation on applied poverty research and training. It specializes in analyzing poverty and inequality and offering research-based policy recommendations on how to reduce them.
	Investment in children This web page collects the experiences, lessons and projects of initiatives that rise from civil society to put Peruvian children as the central topic of the public agenda, in the communication media and in the highest level in the national interest. The web page also invites all actors of our society to unite with the same objective.
	Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio [UN Millennium Development Goals] The eight Millennium Development Goals -MDG, which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 - form a blueprint agreed to by all the world's countries and the entire world's leading development institutions. They have galvanized unprecedented efforts to meet the needs of the world's poorest.
	Observatorio por la Infancia y la Adolescencia [Observatory for Childhood and Adolescence] The Observatory for Childhood and Adolescence emerged as an initiative of the University Research Centre at Universidad del Pacífico -CIUP and Save the Children Sweden. It monitors the social investment of the state among children in Peru, as well as the quality of social spending and public policies aimed and children and adolescents. Beyond the monitoring, the goal of this observatory is to elaborate proposals that improve the implementation of policies and the administration of spending.
	PREVAL PREVAL is a program to strengthen regional capacity for follow-up and evaluation of projects for the International Fund for Agricultural Development - FIDA projects, that provide training and technical assistances for projects from the fund. At the same time, it disseminates knowledge and tools that promote exchange mechanisms between networks, associations and specialized organizations in the area of follow-up and evaluation.
	Programa Internacional para la erradicación del Trabajo Infantil [The International Program for the Eradication of Child Labor] The International Program for the Eradication of Child Labor - IPEC is a technical cooperation initiative exclusively dedicated to preventing and combating child labor. The principal objective of this Program is to impel the process to eliminate child labor through joint actions with governments, employer organizations, workers, non-government organizations and other social groups.
	Transparencia Económica Perú [Economic Transparency Peru] Economic Transparency is an informative platform with free access that permits any user, in real time, access to the economic information that the Finance Minister -MEF could centralize.
	Wellbeing in Developing Countries (WeD)-University of Bath The objective of WeD is to develop a conceptual and methodological approach for understanding the social and cultural construction of wellbeing in developing countries. An international, interdisciplinary team draws together perspectives from across the social sciences in a major programme of comparative research, focused on six communities in each of four countries: Ethiopia, Thailand, Peru and Bangladesh. The research raises fundamental questions both for the academic study of development, and for the policy community.
	Young Lives The aim of Young Lives is to provide solid evidence to underpin effective poverty reduction and social policies. Our research is tracking the changing outcomes and impact of poverty for children through childhood, into adulthood and into the next generation. The study is designed so the research evidence can inform policy debates, and specifically link to the formulation and implementation of pro-poor policies that will be far more effective in reducing childhood poverty in the future.
