| Second survey |
The tools used to gather information about each child included: a survey with a parent or person responsible for the home, a survey with the child¹ and a survey of community leaders, all of which served to elaborate data bases which are being refined and analyzed. The data bases will be made available to the public on a specialized web site, similar to what was done with the data bases from the first round.
The information obtained in the field about children and poverty is being analyzed by investigators, who are working on diverse reports that will be shared with colleagues, public officials and civil society representatives so that they take into account the findings in their work. This section will include the first documents that offer preliminary results from the second round.
Among the documents are the Country Report for the Second Round – Peru (only in English) and two summarized versions: Summary of the Country Report for the Second Round – Peru, Principal Preliminary Findings of the Second Round – Peru (in Spanish and English). We will also include the following Technical Notes (Both only in English): An Evaluation of the Children of the Millennium in Peru Sample (No. 3) and Child Poverty In Peru: A Bibliographical Review (No. 8).
The documents that are not available in Spanish can be reviewed in English on this same Internet page:
